Installation of eccentric sleeve locking belt seat bearing

Attention: Products with eccentric sleeves are not recommended for use in situations where the direction of rotation may change, as changing the direction of rotation can cause the eccentric sleeve to loosen. The preparation work for products with eccentric sleeves is the same as that for products with top threads.
1. Install seat bearings

Avoid using metal objects such as hammers to strike the bearings during installation. Especially for bearings with retaining ring seals, knocking on the bearing may cause the retaining ring to move inward and come into contact with the inner sealing ring, resulting in friction during operation and causing the bearing to rotate poorly or experience a rapid temperature rise, which can burn out the bearing. When the bearing inner hole is tightly matched with the shaft, it is recommended to use a pressure device to press the inner ring end face for installation.


2. Pre tighten the bearing seat


Excessive torque of the locking bolt may cause deformation of the bearing seat, and appropriate tightening torque is required to lock the bolt Zhongda Bearing recommends using the locking bolt and gasket together when installing the bearing seat, as using the locking bolt alone to lock the bearing seat may cause damage to the bearing seat.


3. Install eccentric sleeve


Fit the eccentric sleeve onto the inner ring boss and manually rotate the eccentric sleeve in the direction of shaft rotation to temporarily tighten it.



4. Rotate the eccentric sleeve


Insert a tool rod into the cylindrical concave hole of the eccentric sleeve outer diameter, tap the tool rod to rotate the eccentric sleeve in the direction of shaft rotation, and tightly hold the installation shaft.


5. Lock the eccentric sleeve


Lock the top thread on the eccentric sleeve onto the shaft. The recommended locking torque can be found in the bearing product manual.


6. Tighten the bearing seat again


Excessive torque of the locking bolt may cause deformation of the bearing seat, and appropriate tightening torque is required to lock the bolt.
